Maryanna graduated from Simon Fraser University in Interdisciplinary Studies and Archaeology and holds a certificate in Fine Art from Emily Carr University Of Art and Design, in addition to two other diplomas from Fraser Valley University and Sprott Shaw College. Years of working for the government while she raised her family eventually led to her own business, Magic Cottage Creations, specializing in web and graphic design.

The focus has now shifted and ever

passionate about art and writing, Maryanna has made a renewed commitment to creative ideas in the works. She works from her small studio that really is a magic cottage and calls the west coast and the gulf islands her home after living across Canada and extensive travels.
